Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the PPP chairperson, offered on Sunday to roll back governor's rule and the emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa if opposition parties unite behind a common anti-terror strategy. Addressing journalists in Karachi at the Karsaz Monument on the Karsaz bombing's 19th anniversary, he argued that a united stance on militancy would open the door to ending the measures. The comments follow last week's imposition of federal rule in KP, justified by the Centre as a response to the province stepping back from the counter-terrorism effort.
