GM China sales slow as trade war perils grow

General Motors Co's quarterly sales in China fell for the first time in over a year, hit by faltering economic growth and a wider slowdown in the world's biggest auto market amid a whipsawing trade war with the United States. As Sonia Legg reports, global markets also started the week down after a plan by Beijing's central bank to increase liquidity increased fears about the impact of the trade war.
